Last night I posted a Brian/Justin love meme featuring some of my favorite B/J moments from each season. Since then foreverbm did the same for Michael and Ben, and ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) pinkfriction did one for Lindsay and Mel as well. I decided we couldn't leave Ted and Emmett out, so here are my favorite moments of friendship between these two -- one from each season. :-)

Things!!: In which I flail over fics written for/because of me in two fandoms, HP and Verbotene Liebe, and I also do that QaF quote meme thing.
I don't really have anything to say...: And yet I don't let that stop me from ranting about my election obsession, reccing a charming piece of H/D art, and doing that meme about who comments most in one's journal.

Next up in my QaF character love series is Vic! This one was tough, not because I don't like Vic but because I don't exactly have all of his scenes and episode numbers etched into my memory. But the good thing about that was that I got to rewatch a ton of his scenes, and I gained a new appreciation for the relationship between him and Debbie (and between the actors who play them). They have some great, great moments together. The first pic below is from one of my all-time favorite scenes in the series. ♥

Next up in my QaF character love series: Ben! I admire all the characters on the show in different ways, but if I had to pick one of them to be when I grew up, it would be Ben. I have always wanted to be one of those calm, patient, accepting people who aren't easily goaded and don't sweat the small stuff. Maybe someday I'll be that person, but till then, I'll always have Zen Ben. :-)

Crossposted from LJ because I know there are some major Obama folks here at IJ...
I have a conservative right-wing aunt who sent me this big long thing about how wonderful Cindy McCain is, about her character and charity work and whatever, and while all that is fine, the piece also took several cheap shots at Michelle Obama. I wrote back and asked why this person couldn't write good things about Cindy McCain (which I am perfectly willing to read) without bashing Obama. My aunt responded that she'd be happy to read a positive article about Michelle if I had one.
So my question is -- anybody know of any really good articles about Michelle Obama that I could send to my aunt? I found this one, which I think is pretty good, but if anyone has anything better -- something that really made you respect and love Michelle -- please post a link. My aunt will never change her mind about her politics, but I really want to help her see Michelle as more than an America-hating harpy.

*waves* Here's the next edition of my Queer as Folk pic spam series: Melanie! I've gotta say, this one gave me fits, and I'm not quite sure why since I actually love Mel. (Plus I think she's sexy as hell, but that is not the point of this pic spam.) I just had a hard time saying what I wanted to say. *frustrated* But in any case, here it is -- hope you enjoy. :-)
